About two months after Rachel's Kitchen closed, a new neighborhood sandwich shop is opening in the same cozy space in Bay Village. Patty Sinaiko and Mike Fitzhenry, who met while working at Formaggio Kitchen, use locally grown produce and organic ingredients when possible to make affordable gourmet sandwiches (about $7), prepared foods and homemade layer cakes and cookies. The tiny spot will have a few seats, but will mostly be for takeout. They are also serving breakfast - buckwheat pancakes are a standout - in addition to fabulous sandwiches like a Croque Monsieur or Madame, or a Torta: pork, cjicken, or chorizo with a jicama slaw, black bean refritos, and goat cheese. Delicious!

Founded by husband and wife team Marc Orfaly and Kerri Foley, and nestled between Boston’s Theatre District and Bay Village, Pigalle is a mom-and-pop restaurant of the highest quality. Orfaly’s French-influenced menu combines traditional Parisian bistro fare with pan-Asian flavors that include the Middle East. Pigalle’s intimate dining room is perfect for theatergoers looking for something special or a couple longing for that romantic night out.
Kind of a weird location, small little side street with nothing else really " cute" near it, however the restaurant itself was really charming!
Come here in spring/summer for $1 oysters! They will validate your parking if you park next door at Radisson Hotel.

Chef Charles Draghi brings us Erbaluce, a new Italian eatery tucked away in Bay Village, named for an Italian grape. Using only the freshest ingredients and local herbs, this chef aims to turn out inventive dishes that are light, with sauces built from vegetables rather than butter or cream, and pairing them with the Italian wine list. The food is said to be unlike that found at any other Italian eatery in Boston, and is influenced by the Piedmonte region of Italy, where the chef's family traces its roots. Main dishes are moderately priced, and a bar menu is available.
Reserve by phone or email at: reservations@erbaluce-boston.com.

Smith and Wollensky is an upscale steak and seafood restaurant located in the Bay Village area of Boston. Smith and Wollensky is located in one of Boston's historic landmarks that is known to many as "the castle." The space has been restored meticulously to recapture the integrity and beauty of the original millwork, masonry, and wrought iron ornamental work. While Smith and Wollensky is primarily known for the steaks, things like seafood and other meats are great as well. Smith and Wollensky's menu is a la carte, meaning that you order the meat you want and then order a few sides for the table. Sides such as "Truffled Macaroni and Cheese" are served family style so that everyone can indulge. The menu also includes things such as Oysters ($9), World Famous Split Pea Soup ($6) and Thin Crust Pizza ($9-12). The wine list is extensive, featuring over 500 wines.

Occupying the old quarters of the Piattini wine bar on Columbus, Da Vinci Ristorante moved into this space that straddles the Back Bay and the South End. Da Vinci comes to us from the same owners and chefs of La Campania in Waltham, and hopes to bring the same Italian flair to this eternally struggling restaurant space. With Valet parking, a full bar, and average prices for city dining, Da Vinci is hoping to make a splash in the city as well as the suburbs.

Bistro-style dining at its best. Rustic Kitchen’s wood burning oven produces exquisite gourmet pizzas that are thin and topped with creative toppings (like the Frutti di Mare and the Italian sausage and roasted pepper pizza). The décor is theatrical (which is appropriate because of its Theatre District locale) and oddly comfy. And their killer wine bar makes one feel like their dining at an exclusive Mediterranean chateau.

Part of the Theatre District’s Radisson Hotel, this classically designed eatery serves typical American fare like deli sandwiches and hamburgers. The top-tier dining room overlooks the hustle and bustle of Boston’s Stuart Street. Compared to typical, uninspired hotel food in the area, Theatre Café is a notch above the rest.
