The oldest shop of its kind in the world, Big Men's has been taking care of men of large and super sizes for over 50 years. The unassuming office building hides a friendly, warehouse-style clothes emporium, carrying pants size 36-90 ($40+) and shoes size 6-20 with widths from AAA to EEEEE ($60+). Big Men also caters to the vertically challenged with a (figuratively) wide selection of clothing ranging from tuxes to tees, no matter your height. A tailor on the premises makes sure that alterations are same-day. The website sells clothing in regular sizes and ships all products worldwide.

Beside being a shoe wizard, this guy - he's from Russia if I remember correctly - also does the obligatory key copies. He has what he calls 'safety' keys that not many other places carry, so if you happen to have such a key for your front door (like I do), likely you can get copies made here, even if you've been turned away in other places.

Endless rows of shoeboxes with a sample pair at the top of each pile fill the two floors of DSW, where you'll find a wide range of shoes (mostly from past seasons) for men, women and kiddies. With labels including Easy Spirit, Dockers, Nine West, Diesel, Reaction by Kenneth Cole, and Skechers, prices are generally about 20 percent off original price. Clearances at the store slash prices up to 80%, so get 'em while they're cheap and in pairs. Hosiery and lingerie also available.
