The Jean Yawkey Center built in 2004 is considered by many students to be the focal point in
Emmanuel College campus life. This building contains many essential offices for the college and also serves as a study and "hang out" area. Given its proximity to both a constant source of food and classes, the Yawkey Center has been dubbed "the living room of
Emmanuel " by President Janet Eisner, S.N.D.
Here lies the
Emmanuel College Cafeteria as well as the Atrium, a small addition to the cafeteria that serves food and snacks when the cafeteria is closed.
