Right in the middle of the BU campus (T stop: BU Central Station)-this is the only Chinese restaurant around the area. Cheap food and delivers. You get what you paid for-nice when you are in the mood for Americanized Chinese food.

Add to that homecooked entrees, simple salads, a handful of desserts, and a very stylish place where you can spread out with your laptop. Like the other locations in Harvard Square and Weston Center, this Campo is also becoming a meeting place." (Sheryl Julian, Globe staff | December 22, 2005) Great Authentic Italian food, you can get a great tasting combo with a sandwich and either soup, salad or pizza, plus a drink, for around $6.60.

Three things that make this place great: fast, cheap, and delicious. Although located in the basement level with wallpaper that hasn't changed in decades, the food is amazing with just the right amount of spiciness. No cards no delivery but great for late night munchies and fuel for all nighters. (Take-out is one of the greater inventions of the 20th century...)

or BU students (in between the BU Central Station and East T Stop)-with the overwhelming menu-you can almost get anything you want from pizza, gyros, veggie wraps, subs, shakes, pasta, burgers, etc. Although come prepared-they don't accept credit card and unfortunately for those of us who love having the food come to our doorstep-they don't deliver.

In the area once occupied by the infamous and lamented Deli Haus (home to many early morning breakfasts) is the Lower Depths Tap Room. A pub that opened in December 2006 and is known for its very good hamburger and large selection of beers. BE AWARE The Lower Depths is a CASH ONLY establishment. Starting in 2008, Lower Depths is now serving brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. Hot dogs $1 each. Seven different toppings can be added for another $1 each.

Serving Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Crepes, Panini, Salads, Smoothies, Pasta, Coffee and Tea. They offer delivery and take-out. Mainly cater to the student crowd. Since it's a crepe cafe, I strongly suggest trying a crepe. Everything from breakfast crepes to delicious dessert crepes filled with nutella. Nice service and decently priced (8$ for a meal).

Pizza/Italian restaurant that caters mostly to BU students. Delivers to BU area, but most business comes from walk ins/pick ups. You can also can order calzones, subs, sandwiches and salads (not their strong point. They have some really good deals, including $3.50 for a cheesburger and fries meal (tastier and cheaper than fast food restaurants).

Originally called The Falafel Place, it reopened in 2007 with the new name, owned by it's neighboring Crispy Crepes Cafe. A nice alternative to the regular college grub. Food takes a while to cook so calling it in prior to pick-up is great if you are in a hurry. Offering Moroccan Specialities - including cous cous, falafel, shawarma, brochettes, roll-ups

No longer an official franchise of "Lollicup", Spice King now under new management offers the same Indonesian food along with a nice variety of bubble tea drinks. Decently priced, it is unfortunate that the food is not as good as it sounds on the menu. Warning: Not handicap accesible-must go up a flight of stairs to access the restaurant.

Walk up the stairs into this favorite of BU students. Learn the ordering system - choose the type of dish (soup, pan-fried); choose the noodle, choose the accompaniment (chicken, beef) - and get your food quickly.
