This salon is, in fact, a hair design studio that is meant to be small and intimate as well as being a forum for the promotion of art, creativity and the enjoyment of music and conversation. DESIgn of Boston Salon was created in the ultimate desire to be the antithesis of a typical "hair factory" that so many people are used to. We pride ourselves on our focus on creativity, art, ultimate client benevolence and providing the best service available today in any Boston hair salon. This place is pretty new, it opened in the spring of '07, but they do a first-rate job and when you leave, you feel like a better person. The makeup lines are upscale and unique, as some can only otherwise be found at Neiman Marcus or Bloomingdale's. This skincare boutique caters to both men and women, and the menfolk particularly like the Art of Shaving products. Hint: the stuff makes great gifts for the men in your life.
