One of the most famous pizza places in the country, Pizzeria Regina has been packing them in and slinging pie since 1926. This North End institution has not changed much since it first opened it's doors 80 plus years ago. Its menu is still only pizza and beer served by fresh-talking local waitresses and it is still a cash only business. Pizzeria Regina remains an untouched piece of Boston history.

Average to above average pie, to my tastes. The toppings - meats especially - are not as good as they could be. The crust is pretty good, but tends to be quite bubbly. Sauce and cheese are tasty, if slightly ordinary... it's certainly satisfying, but I guess I was expecting more.

Still some of the best pie I have ever had... Although, have still not been to Santarpio's to check out the competition.

what!?!!? OVERRATED!???!! the pizza is frickin' awesome! the lines aren't that long if you know when to go. Service does lack a bit, but it doesn't blow. and so what if the waitresses are 'fugly'? the restaurant isn't about how hot the waitresses are. pizzeria regina isn't a hooters!!! it is about the pizza!!!!!
